What Is TaPasefika?

TaPasefika Health Trust (‘ TaPasefika ') is the first Pacific Primary Health Organisation (PHO) to be established in New Zealand . It originally started as a tripartite relationship between Health Star Pacific Trust, Health Pacifica Doctors and South Seas Healthcare and now includes Mangere Family Doctors.

TaPasefika is a family of doctors, nurses and community health workers professionally trained and skilled in healthcare to help you and your entire family.

TaPasefika is a non-profit organisation. This means that TaPasefika receives most of its money from a fixed amount of funding from Government. This essential funding from Government allows us to provide a variety of services for you and your family.

The aim of TaPasefika is to " improve the health and well being of Pacific people, OUR families and communities ” by working together with you. In this new environment of PHO's, one of our many aims and objectives is to redesign healthcare around you and together with you and your family . The more you tell us about your needs, the better our healthcare service will be to you and your family. Healthcare for YOUR entire family is the Pacific way – OUR WAY.
